Our 5 Creatives // 5 Stories event series takes place on Thursday, September 13 at 7 PM at Openhouse Gallery. The event includes presentations from creative professionals, who will share stories about obstacles they encountered while pursuing their passions, lessons they learned, and advice that can apply to creatives at any stage in their career.

We’re also excited to introduce you to one of our speakers for this event. Megan Mair is a designer, photographer and creative director for Jeremyville. She’s originally from Sydney, Australia and is now based in New York running her studio in downtown Soho.
Megan has created and developed a broad range of art driven projects with international clients throughout the world including: art shows in Japan, Paris, Milan & Japan; a limited edition range of sneakers for Converse; live murals and artworks for MTV Italy; Swatch; and 55 DSL & Colette of Paris. Megan’s most recent project is a collection of accessories designed exclusively for Le Sportsac, launched worldwide.
Her projects have been featured in magazines such as Swindle, Vapors, xlr8r, Wallpaper, Dazed and Confused, Nylon, Fused UK, IdN, Territory, Juxtapoz, The Drama, Beautiful Decay, 119, Xfuns, T World Journal and published in design books by IdN, Die Gestalten Verlag, All Rights Reserved, Victionary, MTV, Magma Books, Kidrobot, Faesthetic, Laurence King, and Pictoplasma.
Megan is a regular speaker at international design conferences including Pictoplasma in Berlin, Parsons Design School in NY, the Pixel Show in Brazil, TMDG in Argentina, and Kreativ in Norway. In addition, she also co-produced and designed two premier design books, ‘Vinyl Will Kill !’ (the first book in the world on designer toys) and the latest title, ‘Jeremyville Sessions’, published by IdN, both international best sellers and sought after titles around the world.
